How often should transmission fluid be changed?
Every 30,000–60,000 miles for most automatics; CVTs typically every 30,000 miles. 'Lifetime' fluid still benefits from a 60k service.
Will a fluid change fix slipping?
Sometimes — if caught very early. If clutches are already worn, fluid alone won't fix it. We'll be honest with you.
